The social construction theory was used to explain the specificity of women’s experiences and their differences from those of men, since under patriarchal societal conditions as is mostly the case, women have a differential access to the public sphere or field. Critical theory on the other hand was applied to establish whether the male and female gender shared the same experience with regard to the effects of terrorism.

EFFECTS OF PUBLIC EXPENDITURE ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN NIGERIA

An examination of the effects of public expenditure on economic growth in Nigeria was carried out in this study for a period of nineteen years (1999-2018). Gross Domestic Product was employed to measure economic growth. The combined effects of recurrent and capital expenditures were ascertained using appropriate time series data extracted from the Statistical Bulletin of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

TYPES AND LEVELS OF RESOURCE WASTAGES IN PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN RIVERS STATE

This study examined the types and levels of resource wastage in Rivers State public secondary schools. The researcher formulated two research questions and two hypotheses to guide the study, while descriptive survey was adopted for the study. A sample size of 124 principals was drawn through a stratified random sampling technique, representing 50% of the total population of 247 public secondary schools in Rivers State.

ASSESSMENT OF ICT FACILITIES FOR INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

This paper determines the ICT-based services used for the Industrial Technology program in one of the State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines. The study shows that the respondents agreed on the provisions on ICT facilities for the CIT-related courses in terms of computer units, users’ schedule and availability of room space; and the ICT-based services rendered by the ICT laboratories in terms of browsing and researching, the printing of documents, and internet access/connectivity is of least extent.

RECENT TRENDS IN SOVEREIGN DEBT RESTRUCTURING AND THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID-19

Two things are at play: Sovereign debt and Sovereign Wealth Funds. On the one hand, states have been known to accumulate sovereign debt through bonds for priority development such as infrastructure. Whenever they default they resort to already predetermined debt restructuring mechanisms or negotiations of a certain nature with their creditors to either postpone the due date and or write-off the debt in entirety or partially.
